Today marks a milestone in our journey. Well, actually tomorrow will, but today we head to Atlanta so we can complete the final stage of securing our work visas–interviews with the French Consulate. That means, if all goes well, in two weeks we’ll be on a plane to France.

There’s only one song that can describe the way I’m feeling today:

First we have to get through an incredibly long travel day–we’re taking the scenic route through Miami to get to Atlanta, but it feels good to be in the home stretch.

Due to our travels, this will be my last post for the week, but I’ll leave you with the result of my tasty hotel kitchen experiment from yesterday.  Three words: chocolate, peanut butter and banana.
